In Zambia, experiences of vulnerability resulting from violation of human rights are common, especially among women and girl child. Despite existing laws put in place to protect human rights.

Zambia enacted the Gender Equity and Equality Act No. 22 in 2015, which has provision for elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, empower women and achieve gender equity and equality. But like many other laws of Zambia, it is violated because most women and girls do not know their rights, those who do are unable to seek justice or threatened not to.

Most women who are vulnerable to injustices are found in eventualities such as HIV/AIDs, widowhood, gender based violence, human trafficking or orphan-hood and other vices that affect the well being of individuals.

Our mentors and activists educate girls and women on their rights and sexual health rights. We stand by those whose rights are violated and help them seek justice. We advocate Gender Based Violence prevention and Justice.

Help us protect the rights of women and girl child.
